PPLN Crystals for SHG 1064nm, 2.2x0.5x1.4mm Code: 2091-002
Periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystals are a type of highly efficient non-linear optical crystal, which cover an extremely wide wavelength conversion spectral range of 0.4μm to 5.0μm, and is a crucial component for fabricating integrated PPLN Waveguide Modules. The 5% MgO doping in LiNbO3 would increase the optical resistance of the crystals and significantly improve its damage threshold. MgO: PPLN could be used for Second Harmonic Generation (SHG), Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO), Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA), Sum Frequency Generation (SFG) and Difference Frequency Generation (DFG). By choosing the proper period, width, and length, one can obtain the required specific frequency conversion.
