DKDP Pockels Cells
DKDP or KD*P crystals stand out for their high electro-optic coefficients attributing to the high deuteration content, and the high e-o conversion efficiencies render them well-suited for pockels cells Q-switches applications. DKDP crystals also have good transmission at 0.3 to 1.1µm. The operation wavelength range of DKDP (KD*P) Pockels cells for Q-switching applications is 400 nm to about 1.1 μm. Most of the low repetition rate DPSS Nd:YAG lasers and commercial flashlamp-pumped Nd:YAG lasers are equipped with DKDP (KD*P) based Pockels cells for laser cavity Q-switching. With the distinguished merits of excellent mechanical and optical properties, DKDP Pockel cells are often used in lasers of large caliber, high power, and narrow pulse width.
Hangzhou Shalom EO offers the DKDP pockels cells with high deuteration (>98%, or even 99% can be obtained), low capacitance and fast rise time, high transmission, and high extinction ratio. A largest aperture of 50mm is available.

We lauches our new
2031-031 DKDP Pockels Cells designed for pulsed 755nm Alexandrite laser, this pockels cells consisting of a meticulous engineered combination of 1 pce of 99% high deuteration DKDP crystals, coated with 3 gold plating, placed in durable housing and endcaps, assembled with 3 pogo pins and high trasmission optical UV fused silica windows. The s1/s2 surfaces of the DKDP crystal are coated with Sol gel AR coatings (R<0.05%). In addition, our 2031-031 Pockels cells also exhibits decent laser damage threshold of 2.2J/cm2@700ps, 755nm, and medium extinction ratio of >2500:1, suitable for accurate control of the polarization state of light in applications like comestic lasers and hair removal lasers.
