Chirped Mirrors are a special type of dispersive laser mirrors with dispersion compensation functions, introducing a negative group delay dispersion (GDD) that attenuates pulse-lengthening when ultrafast pulses propagate in optics and facilitating the preservation of beam profile and peak power.
