| High Power, Ultrafast Optical Coatings |
High power optical coatings are optical coatings with high laser damage-induced threshold (LIDT), designed to withstand exposure to high light intensities for high power applications such as high power lasers. Laser induced damage threshold denotes the maximum laser fluence (for pulsed lasers, typically in J/cm2) or the maximum laser intensity (for continuous wave lasers, typically in W/cm2) that the coating can endure before damage occurs. Ultrafast coatings are optical coatings designed for ultrafast optics, such as femtosecond, picosecond, and nanosecond pulsed laser optics, these optics require coatings with very low chromatic dispersion to maintain pulse shape and peak power, and high damage threshold to endure the intense peak power of the ultrashort pulse. Hangzhou Shalom EO provides high power optical coatings, high power mirror coatings, high power AR coatings, ultrafast optical coatings for chirped mirrors, femtoline low GDD mirrors, ultrafast enhanced silver mirrors.
