New Product Alert-LaBr3(Ce) Pixelated Scintillation Arrays

TIME-OF-FLIGHT (TOF) measurement in PET has the potential to significantly improve scanner performance. LaBr3(Ce), or  Cerium-doped Lanthanum Bromide, with its outstanding scintillation properties, including high light yields(~61,000 photons per MeV), excellent energy resolution (3% at 662KeV), and fast decay time, seems to be emerging as a candidate attracting attention among researchers as the scintillator material for medical imaging TOF-PET. LaBr3(Ce) pixelated scintillation arrays can maintain excellent time resolution for the application.
