GOS:Pr Scintillator Array
Gadolinium oxysulfide or GOS (Gd2O2S:Pr) is a kind of ceramic with a hexagonal system structure, it has good chemical stability and machinability and is harmless to the environment. GOS doped with rare earth ions has relatively high light output and extremely low afterglow, which is less than 0.1% at 3 ms. GOS scintillator ceramic has an emission peak spectral range of 470 ~ 900 nm, which is well matched with the spectral sensitivity of silicon photodiodes (Si PD).
