The thin flat scintillation crystals can be used as the scintillation screens directly, which has an extraordinary high spacial resolutions. Scintillation thin screens are used to detect proton beams, electron beams, low energy X-rays (or soft X-rays), Ultra-Violet (UV) light, Deep Ultra-Violet (DUV) light, Vacuum Ultra-Violet (VUV) and Extreme Ultra-Violet (EUV or XUV) radiations, they are widely used in Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), high resolution soft x-ray detection and Ultra-Violet lasers systems.
Hangzhou Shalom EO provides a variety of the scintillation screen made from scintillation crystals: LuAG(Ce), YAG(Ce) , YAP(Ce), GAGG(Ce), LYSO(Ce) and CsI(Tl) ect,. The scintillator screen could be free-standing or installed in aluminum holder, and in order to get a thin screen down to 10 or 20 micro, a fused silica or optical glass substrate would be bonded to the scintillation screens.
