The matched chirped mirror pairs are sold in packs of two complementary chirped mirrors. Using chirped mirror pairs can decrease the unwanted oscillation of GDD across the spectrum. The chirped mirror pairs are the premium choice for chirped-pulse amplifiers and ultra-broadband laser oscillators, where the broadband design supports dispersion compensation.
